On 21st February it is the anniversary of the execution of the National Hero of France, Armenian poet Misak Manushyan.
The orphaned poet who barely escaped the Genocide become one of the commanders of the resistance in France and sacrificed his life to save Europe from fascism.
This sacrifice held great idea for Manushyan which brought reason to his life and death. The author of the film “Army of Criminals” telling about Manushyan and his fellow soldiers, France-Armenian director Robert Gedikyan called the fight of Armenians a “Supernatural Wonder”.
