It will be televised live in more than 225 countries of the world. The official broadcaster of the Oscars in Armenia is the Public Television. The awards ceremony will be commented by the hosts of the Public Television Arman Margaryan and Hermine Stepanyan.
This year the Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The awards ceremony will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris. The Oscars is considered to be one of the most watched shows. The previous 86th awards ceremony has been the most watched entertainment TV show in the last 10 years.
About 45 million people followed live the handover of the statuettes, more than 1 billion people posted their impressions on Twitter and 25 million people – on Facebook. Moreover, the well-known selfie with participation of stars has become the most retweeted photo of all times, recording 32.8 million views.
