In 1989 still young and unexperienced photographer German Avagyan had just returned from Russia and was searching a job. On his way he suddenly saw the signboard of “Garun” magazine. The photographer directed his steps toward the editorial office of one of the most authoritative magazines of that time.
German’s photos were approved and he was employed. One of his first photos taken for “Garun” magazine” portrays Hrant Matevosyan. It became one of the most favorite and succeeded photos of German Avagyan.
