The experts of the best laboratory of criminology of the Eastern Europe police are in Armenia on a 3 day visit with the chief of the laboratory Valdemar Kravchuk in the lead. Polish criminologists were met by the chief medical examiner of Armenia in the Forensic Medicine Center. Mher Bisharyan highlighted the importance of further cooperation of the relevant authorities of two countries, especially the scientific and education programs of retraining of experts and experience exchange. The latter with allow to raise the quality of forensic examinations leveling it with European standards.
Polish experts are interested how their Armenian colleagues initiate biological, genetic, chemical examinations. Armenia-Polish cooperation in this field is new. The agreement of cooperation between two sides was signed in summer 2013 in Poland. The Armenian side expects to get high quality devices in the result of joint programs which will not only ease the work of forensic examiners but also will allow to master especially chemical and genetic examinations. The latter are initiated in Armenia since 2000 and are needed in modern world.
