The aim of the health care program is to prevent some illnesses which arise because of the deficiency of iron and folate. The deputy of the Minister of Health Care of RA Sergey Khachatryan commented that if we compare with countries that have experience in enriching the flour we can see that births with defects in Armenia are 2-3 times higher.
The president of the National Association of Consumers Melita Hakobyan says that the acceptance of the law is violation of some human rights. According to her to initiate the project more examinations are necessary.
