The name of the Armenian representative at Eurovision International Song Contest 2015 and the song will be made public in February. The official broadcaster of the contest, Public Television of Armenia, will hold an internal election of an artist/artists and song.
The two semi-finals of the contest will be held on May 19 and 21, and the final – on May 23.
Eurovision Song Contest 2015 will take place in the capital of Austria – Vienna, with the official slogan “Building Bridges”.
This year, thirty-nine countries are going to participate in the contest: Armenia, Albany, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Macedonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
Some member states of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) have refused to participate in the contest for different reasons. Those countries are Ukraine, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, Turkey, Lichtenstein and Luxemburg.
