Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan has paid an official visit to Sweden. Besides holding a meeting with his Swedish counterpart, the Foreign Minister also participated in the official opening of the Armenian Embassy in Sweden.
Representatives of the Swedish government and Foreign Affairs Ministry, ambassadors accredited in Stockholm, public figures and representatives of the Armenian community in Sweden participated in the solemn opening.
In his speech Edward Nalbandyan referred to the past and present of the Armenian-Swedish relations.
The Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to the Swedish Parliament – Riksdag, for recognizing the Armenian Genocide in 2010.
