Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan participated in a gala concert organized in Los Angeles within the framework of the Telethon 2014.In his speech Bako Sakakyan referred to Artsakh’s home and foreign policy, regional processes, attached importance to cooperation with Diaspora.
Referring to the target of “Telethon-2014” – construction of Vardenis-Martakert highway, the President of the second Armenian republic described it as a project of social and economic significance both for Artsakh and all Armenian people.
The representatives of Hayastan All Armenian Fund presented a film as a report of the work implemented during the past year.Construction of the first sector of Vardenis-Martakert highway will be completed on December 19. The project has been estimated 13 billion drams. Construction of 4 billion 670 million has already been carried out.
The road is of military-political and economic significance. For that very reason this year’s telethon will focus on implementation of the above project.
