Armenian pilots, major Sergey Sahakyan, senior lieutenant Sargis Nazaryan, and lieutenant Azat Sahakyan, did not participate in the main stage of large scale military exercises conducted in Artsakh. Their helicopter was shot down in the neutral territory on November 12. The remains of young men stayed in the area of incident for several days.
Possible measures aimed to return the pilots’ bodies were taken during those days. However, Azerbaijan authorities answered cynically that they would allow it when they considered it necessary.
Today our fighters have changed the situation; perhaps, it is not reasonable to revert word for word to the advice given and steps taken by international forces since November 12.
