The Defence Ministry has been conducting events under the slogan “Our army is our home and our castle” during more than a year. The regular meeting of servicemen with their parents in the framework of that initiative was conducted in Kapan. Among the participants were officers of the 3rd Army, more than 40 fixed period servicemen born in Syunik and their parents.
At the meeting Officer Onik Gasparyan expressed gratitude to the servicemen’s parents whom children honorably defended the fatherland’s borders. During the event the servicemen were awarded a short vacation, and the parents got letters of appreciation.
