Commander of the 1st Officers' Battalion of RA Traffic Police Arsen Arshakyan has presented to journalists the statistics of the road accidents registered in Yerevan within the 10 months of the running year.
In consequence of 1137 accidents, 54 000 death cases have been recorded, and over 500 people have received bodily injuries.
Summing up the work of the Traffic Police, Arsen Arshakyan informed that very soon the drivers involved in a road accident will not have to wait for inspectors of insurance agencies.
Traffic Police is going to have a function of registering and photographing accidents in a matter of minutes, which will enable to avoid waiting for inspectors and will prevent traffic jams.
