Prosecution against former Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi continues. Country’s prosecutors demand a maximum punishment for him – death penalty.
Morsi and other 35 former members of “Muslim Brotherhood” Islamist organization are accused of spying for other states. The accusing side claims that Morsi and his followers during a year of presidency provided confidential documents to foreign intelligence services, including Iran.
Besides that, they collaborated with extremists and destabilized the situation in the country. However, Mohammed Morsi does not admit his guilt.
