Parliament of the Spanish Kingdom recognized the state of Palestine and called on the country’s government to do the same. 319 MPs voted for that symbolic decision, 2 voted against and only one - abstained.
Great Britain and Ireland, too, adopted a similar decision last month. And on October 30, the new government of Sweden officially recognized the state of Palestine, after which Israel recalled its ambassador from Stockholm.
