MPs, both coalition and opposition, unanimously approved a bill, according to which the state will partially fund the communal expenses of the residents of cross-border communities in the upcoming three years.
Gas, electricity and irrigation water payments of residents of about 31 cross-border communities will be partially compensated from the state budget. This will demand about 1 billion drams.
The draft bill of freeing from taxes the activity implemented in cross-border communities was adopted with 94 for, 3 against and 1 abstained votes.The bill concerning on maternity benefit was on the agenda, too.
