The talks over entering the area where the Armenian helicopter was destructed are going on.
Defense Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan discussed the issue with the chief diplomat of Washington in Yerevan. Yerevan is also carrying out negotiations with the biggest all-European security institution – OSCE.Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, did not exclude that he will soon leave for Baku to discuss the matter.
Prior to that, according to an agreement reached with Stepanakert, the OSCE mission conducted a planned monitoring at Karabakh-Azerbaijani line of contact in the direction of Askeran. As Andrzej Kasprzyk said, they had tried to conduct a monitoring in the area of downing of the helicopter instead of the above site, but Baku had not guaranteed the security of the territory.
