Malaysia civil airplane crash in Ukraine on July 17 shocked the whole world. While all people condemned the crash the sides involved in the conflict were pointing at those guilty. On November 12 Azerbaijan destroyed Armenian helicopter which though being military did not perform military operations, but merely participated in a military game.
However the international attitude towards the tragedy of November 12 was double. The independent experts considered the Azeri action as a continuation of that of Safarov.
According to Marek Hodakevich, the expert of Washington Institute of World Politics, in the context of Armenian-Azeri conflict, the destruction of Armenian helicopter is very much like the assassination of Armenian officer in Hungary.
