Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan attended in Jermuk the fourth annual conference on development of rural communities. Up-to-date issues on the local government system and on rural communities will be discussed during the two-day conference.
Hovik Abrahamyan attached high importance to the role of the local self-governing bodies. In his words, through better organization, proactive steps we can ensure some local results. Armenia has already recorded tangible results in the creation of greenhouse farms, berries and small agricultural processing capacity.
Agricultural goods processing small entities were put into operation in different communities in the recent months. Greenhouse facilities will be commissioned in Kothi and Chinari communities.
