This year, 145 films from nearly 4 dozen countries will participate in “Rolan” 10th International Film Festival for Children and Young People. The organizer is Rolan Bykov Armenian Foundation for Promotion of Cinema and TV for Children and Young People.
This year, one more nomination – “I have the Honor”, has added to the competition nominations. The best films will be shown for the children and young people of provinces as well.
Since its foundation the festival has aimed at disseminating high values in children from an early age, to educate and prepare responsible citizens.
It is noteworthy that this year the jury will be exclusively comprised of children and students.
According to specialists, educational films have a significant influence on children’s psychology; therefore they become irreplaceable means for parents.
