The local elections have wrapped up in the Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk. The Russian-speaking residents have elected the heads of the republics and MPs of the national councils. According to the initial data, the acting prime ministers have won both in Donetsk and Lugansk.
Kiev, Washington and the European Union stated that they consider the elections in Donetsk and Lugansk as illegal and do not recognize. Moscow, quite the opposite, stated it respects and accepts the decision of the residents.
