The first Kurdish peshmerga fighters have left for Syria through the territory of Turkey.
They have taken with them heavy weapons, armored vehicles and anti-tank weapons. It is still not clear when they will reach their compatriots in Kobani.
One of the city’s heads - Anvar Muslim, said that Kobani’s Kurdish warriors do not have means of anti-tank combat enabling them to stop the Islamists’ tank attacks. Kurds and Islamists are fighting up to now for taking full control of Kobani.
The Kurds have managed to throw out Jihads from Kobani causing significant losses, but the latter are going on with the attacks from all sides.
