Still in June the government of Armenia approved a project promoting farmers’ seasonal works. Instead of the unemployment benefit, farmers get paid for the work on their lands.
Thirteen rural communities of the region responded to the government’s proposal on development of the own business and cultivating the uncultivated lands. This year, nine farms of Tsav village did not have to seek funding for arranging the harvest.
