Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko sent a special video-address after the special parliamentary elections, saying that the people of Ukraine had proved that their plan was realistic, and the country’s political course was right.
He described the outcome of the election as a victory of pro-Ukrainian and pro-European powers. Poroshenko says the Ukrainians have also agreed on his peace plan and army empowering intention. He said that the rebooting of the authorities was over, the delay would have been equivalent to death.
Thus, he expects the new coalition to be formed as soon as possible. As the President he vowed to speed up the government formation and the reforms. His team has already prepared the coalition agreement, which included changes, adoption of targeting laws and prosperity for everyone enabled by initiatives.
