After a tree-year break it was the second time for Cardinal Ravasi to be hosted at the Yerevan State University and present the Armenian and the Russian translations of the “Saint Gregory the Illuminator – Common Christian Heritage” exhibition book, dedicated to the first Armenian pontifex.
Quoting the great Thomas Elliot Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, the chair of the Vatican Pontifical Culture Council, once again stated at the YSU representatives’ auditorium that the Christianity is the key to understanding the acclaimed representatives of the world civilization and great teachings.
And considering his own long spiritual service for Vatican he adds that without culture the religion turns into sophistication. And the culture without religion is too superficial.
