The bill on the tax privileges for the borderline communities was adopted at the first reading on the last day of the Four-day session at the Armenian Parliament. 96 were for it, 5 were against and 2 abstained in the vote.
The “Heritage” Party MP Tevan Poghosyan was vocal on another issue of demography on border. It needs to be taken care of, in addition to the tax privileges and entrepreneurship encouragement, he thinks. The Deputy says he sees very little youth in that kind of villages.
The Government representative stated that the bills on borderline villages and other tax privileges will be differentiated.
