The German Foreign Minister arrived in Armenia with a high-capacity “suitcase” of political and economical dialogue.
The negotiations agenda for Edward Nalbandian and Walter Steinmeier was tough starting from the Nagorno-Karabakh regulation to the regional developments and deepening of the bilateral economic ties. The German guest stressed that the Eurasian way of developing chosen by Yerevan was not an obstacle for closer collaboration ties with Brussels.
The Minister currently on his second term is delighted to remember his first trip to Armenia and notes that since then the relations between Armenia and Germany have been developed and strengthened. Armenian Foreign Minister labeled all the negotiations with Steinmeier as efficient. They met a few months ago. Prior to the negotiations the German diplomat visited Tsitsernakaberd and paid his homage to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
