The inauguration ceremony of the new branch building for the Special Investigation Service was attended by the head of the state.
Serzh Sargsyan toured in the newly opened branch, got familiarized with the working conditions, spoke to the staff about the problems the Service faces and the necessity to better carry out their functions in new and benignant conditions.
The head of the state stressed that the SIS has been an important component to the law enforcement system in our country since the first day of its establishment. The President was delighted to notice that the SIS has managed to gain its reputation equivalent to its mission in a short period of time.
Addressing the staff of the SIS the President stressed that the studies of the annual written reports on their activity, as envisaged by the Law, their transparent and open way of working clearly show the consistent progress and the development of the Service.
