The international literary project aims at encouraging the cultural dialogue between the Armenian and the US writers and lecturers, spreading the modern US literature across the World. The US intellectuals are expected to visit Turkey, as well, trying to become a “hub” for dialogue for the Armenian and Turkish literary circles.
Peter Balakian is among the five writers visiting Armenia renowned for his “Black Dog of Fate” and “Burning Tigris” novels on the Armenian Genocide.
