Ebola spreads all over the world with speed, that brings concerns.
The background of this virus named after a river in Congo is not new. It was first discovered around 40 years ago. There have been outbreaks of the virus in the past, the death rate is high. When Ebola was in Africa only, it seemed something abstract. The virus is not in Africa any more. It spreads all over the planet. The most risky way of the virus spreading is transportation by plane.
Just to get sure, that, for example, the virus has not entered Armenia through Paris – Yerevan flight, after the landing the virologists start examining the passengers and the crew. Ebola spreading danger is considered to be low, but the WHO urged to strengthen the preventive measures all over the world. In Armenia, the Healthcare Minister ordered checking in all the air and ground check-points.
