There is a large feedback from international community to Baku’s black list. The Moscow station of “Ekho Moskvi” has not been inattentive to what goes on in the Southern Caucasus. 3 years ago the correspondent for this radio station, Sergei Buntman, visited the NKR for making reportages. Then Baku immediately edited the notorious black list.
Karabakh is not only a professional activity sphere for the Russian journalist. There is another side of this story- the family of Buntman’s mother is from Artsakh. The issue was also a chance to return to the roots. The journalists, the father and the son found the village in Martakert region, the house that was burnt down when it was shelled by the foe, back in 1992.
Official Baku justifies its action, saying that those people violated the Azerbaijani Law on Border, and entered the territory of that country without permission. As evidence the trivial and awkward point of view was claimed on “occupied territories.”
