In Lori a festival kicked off and it is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the late cinema nd theater actor Sos Sargsyan. The theatrical “fireworks” is going to cover Vanadzor, Spitak and Stepanavan, other cities of the region. 26 companies from Armenia, Russia, Georgia due to present their shows.
The festival opening was attended by the Culture Minister of Armenia, Consul General of Russia to Gyumri, acclaimed culture figures.
This year as parts of the festival master classes, artistic discussions, meetings, tours are expected, as well, besides the theatrical shows.
The 145th anniversary of Komitas, 90th anniversary of Hrachya Gaplanyan, 80th anniversary of dramatist Jirayr Ananyan will be also commemorated.
