Russia’s President Vladimir Putin gave a positive assessment to his negotiations with the Ukrainian President Poroshenko, in Milan. The issues of the solution to the situation in the east of Ukraine and gas supply were discussed by the presidents.
The previous day Ukraine’s President Poroshenko had endorsed the Law on the new status of Donbas region, which was objected by the authorities of the given region.
The two Slavic state presidents were accompanied by Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande, PMs of Italy and the UK, at the breakfast table.
