Ukrainian authorities work on two fronts, at a time. The so-called Lustration Law for the authorities is enacted. President Poroshenko approved the fining of 39 high-ranking officials.
The escalation continues in the south-east of Ukraine.
PM Yatsenyuk says it is the first stage of the Lustration. From November 1, the Justice Ministry committee will start checking the activities of other officials and work done by ministries. The Law is envisaged for the the military and judicial fields. Besides the lustration the pro-Russian forces in the south-east are still an unsolvable problem for Kiev.
The fights are ongoing here. The volunteer fighters say the army does not follow the truce. 5 civilians were dead, 12 casualties reported just for the recent days. The rockets fall on apartment blocks and hospitals.
