The honour of resuming the authoritative “Brucknerfest” was given to the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra this year.
Every year the A-list festival brings together the most famous musicians in Linz., famous for its musical traditions and educated audience.
This city is historically associated with two names, those of Adolf Hitler, raised here, and composer Anton Bruckner. The APO’s closing program, with huge responsibility, included Khachatourian, Mirzoyan, Shostakovich. Plus highly demanding audience.
After a great European triumph the APO expected in Armenia to resume the 8th Yerevan International Music festival.
