Wine has always been a sacrament for traditional Armenian cuisine. Armenian village people have been practicing winemaking and winegrowing from time immemorial. In Mrgashat Village, Armavir, people value the good young wine. And the Young Wine Day, already a tradition, shows this best. It is celebrated for the 12th year in the first half of October.
Mrgashat people enjoy the reputation of hard-working villagers and they are the first among the people to market their harvest. They say this year is better than the previous one. Despite the unfavourable weather conditions the people of Mtgasaht are not broken.
They do what they usually practice, humbly keeping silence on that. Unlike that they love partying, especially when there is a reason for toasts. This is also good in medical terms.
