Nikolay Borduzha, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, visited the Armenia-Turkey-Nakhijevan “triangle”.
Getting to know the situation on the spot the head of the military and political organization spoke about the necessity of calling off the snipers from Karabakh – Azerbaijan line of contact.
Borduzha thinks everybody is concerned with what happened in late July and early August, when the truce was violated thousands of times. The states were actually on the brink of war. While after the presidential meeting in Sochi the escalation is reduced the truce violations are still continuous.
Borduzha says one of the aims of his visit is to get to know the current situation and report on it for the heads of the member-states at the CSTO regular summit.
The CSTO Secretary General was presented the peculiarities of the military shift at the military post.
