One of the largest and most authoritative museums of the world, the New York “Metropoliten” has recently inaugurated an exhibition dedicated to the historical and cultural heritage of the Armenian kingdom of Urartu.
The feedback by NY residents and tourists is huge. “Metroploiten” borrowed exhibits from the History Museum of Armenia, Louvre Museum in Paris, Berlin Museum and the British Museum. The Urartian exhibition is temporary, it will run several months. But the permanent exhibition is replenished with an Armenian cross-stone and a medieval testament with illustrations, some recent acquisitions by the museum.
“Metropoliten” has parallelly released a CD on the exhibition of the Ararat Kingdom’s archeological heritage, preceding Great Armenia on the Armenian Highland.
