Today, President Sargsyan attended the opening of the technological exhibition DigiTec Expo 2014 at the exhibition complex Yerevan Expo located in Yerevan Scientific Research Institute of Mathematical Machines.
The Armenian President toured traditional pavilions of DigiTech Expo presenting offers of about 130 participant companies pertaining to telecommunications and networking, comprehensive engineering services, technologies, software and web development, as well as to other solutions and services.
Serzh Sargsyan talked to the participants of the exhibition about their activities, problems and upcoming development projects.
By the way, the opening of the 10-year-old DigiTech was performed by a robot specially brought from Vedi. It performs 5 commands precisely. The robot was the one to cut the symbolical red tape.
Among the 130 companies presented at the exhibitions there were traditional and well known names and new participants.
The organizers of the exhibition say the event is mostly addressed to the youth, the aim is to create Armenia of high technologies.
