The Greek President Karolos Papoulias, currently on his visit in Armenia, and the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan participated in the inauguration of the Greek – Armenian Business Conference in Yerevan. Our country is ready to show personal attitude for the large investments, offering tax privileges. This aspect was mentioned by President Sargsyan.
He urged the importance of holding the fifth inter-governmental Greek–Armenian committee meeting on economics, production, technologies, and sciences. This will allow to reveal the potentials in these fields, and envisage the prospects for development.
The head of the Enterprise Greece Corporation said, while opening the conference and addressing the Armenian investors, that the foreign investments are the key to their country’s economic development. In Armenia over 10 companies operate on the Greek capital.
Touching upon the Greek-Armenian cooperation President Sargsyan stressed that the political and the fraternal relations significantly surpass those in economics. The two states have to equalize the levels of both.
