In the run-up to Yerevan’s 2796th Anniversary celebrations families of the same number residing in Yerevan will receive presents.
Today the City Hall started the delivery of the presents.
Fridges, washing machines, ovens, stoves, TVs, vacuum cleaners, computers, and much more electronics for home were included in the presents-lists. The recipients, from the vulnerable social group, are people with disabilities, liberation war fighters, and large families. The 22 oldest residents of the capital will be the first to get their presents.
The Social Welfare Agency of the Yerevan City Hall will coordinate their officials from the social welfare departments, local social services visiting the 2796 enlisted families during one month to hand them the presents. The latters to be distributed from September 30 to October 9.
