Ziarad, the second Yezidi holy place is crowded these days. Yezidis of the World come there to not only hold their annual pilgrimage but also to commemorate their compatriots massacred by the ISIS terrorists in the north of Iraq. The crime imposed to Yezidis today is well-known to Armenians since the early 20th century.
That is the reason Armenians are more compassionate to the Yezidis sharing their fate. The Yezidis appreciated the Armenian attitude by erecting a memorial nearby their holy place symbolizing the friendship between the two nations.
