It is the 10th time they celebrate the Bread Day in Sisian. The celebration symbolizes the end of harvesting and gratitude for rich outcome. The tradition itself is quite old, though the big event exists only for a decade.
The Ughtasar petroglyphs come to prove people used to have ploughing culture at least 10.000 years ago. The history of bread creation is represented at the Sisian History Museum with around 150 samples.
Tables are decorated with traditional meals like pokhindz, halva, gata, lavash, and harisa.
