Artsakh (NKR) healthcare system is continuously re-equipped with modern medical facilities. These days the Stepanakert Republic Center is the focus of attention. The coronary intervention department opening efforts are close to end here. Next is the new oncology center, which is to be built with financing by “Armenia” Pan-Armenian Foundation.
The program of fighting cardiovascular diseases is priority in Artsakh healthcare field, as it is in the rest of the world.
In addition to these two big programs of strategic importance, the bosses in this filed have been paying attention to other directions, as well. The ambulance service has been totally improved. The GPRS with brigade deployment option on the interactive map and the navigation system promise to bring new quality level in medical services for the Artsakh people.
The medical services in the regions of Artsakh are also quickly improving. Kovsakan, and then Martuni hospitals and Martakert clinic will be exploited in a month. Hospitals with 10 bed and ambulance service capabilities are planned to construct in Karvachar, Askeran, Getvan.
