A gala celebration of the 23rd anniversary of Armenia’s Independence was held in Moscow, attended by distinguished guests. Over 600 guests were received.
The guests were met personally by Armenia’s Ambassador to Russia. Among them were heads of the missions in Russia, Russia’s eminent political and social figures, outstanding representatives of the Armenian community in Russia.
After the anthems of Armenia and Russia were offered congratulatory addresses were delivered by the Armenian Ambassador and Grigoriy Karasin, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The non-official part of the reception followed the addresses by the diplomats. It was a unique opportunity of contacting between the foreign diplomats accredited by Moscow.
