The army-building issues were discussed during a traditional, next-in-series meeting held by the RA Armed Forces Command and the students and the faculty of the Gyumri Pedagogical Institute. It was on September 23, dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of the Independence.
The faculty and the students expressed many concerns in their questions. Lieutenant General Stepan Galstyan, Deputy Head of the Staff of the RA Armed Forces handed in the ministerial medals to the distinguished servicemen.
He spoke about the hardships of the Artsakh Liberation War, during which our men fought and won in battles of heavy odds with the foe who were armed to teeth. It was possible thanks to their high morale, he said.
