Formula One left Europe. As it commonly happens at the end of each competition, the last competitions for 2014 will also be held off the Old Word. This year the Asian and US tours of the royal sports starts from Singapore.
Though the Marina Bay track night race was only the 7th in the history of Formula One, it’s long become an exotic and integral part of the calendar.
Still, the Singapore race night did not change the game – the Mercedes racers are again the fastest. Lewis Hamilton went ahead of the German racer of Red Bull and was the first to finish.
Hamilton thus became the leader of the Singapore GP, with his 7th victory in the rally and 28th one for his career. Red Bull racers took the remaining two stages of the podium.
