Ankara was slammed from within the Jewish State. It was issued by the Israeli Channel 1 presenter number one. Political scientist, journalist Ya'akov Ahimeir is distinguished with number of awards. He was given Israel Prize in communications, in 2012.
For the past 25 years he has been speaking out for the Armenian Genocide international recognition and retribution issues on both Israeli and international levels. Recently, Ya’akov Ahimeir wrote a letter to the Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. It was published in “Makor Rishon” newspaper with 80.000 circulation.
In the letter he basically states that the relations between Ankara and Tel - Aviv make the the issue no more irresolvable, in terms of officially recognizing the Armenian Genocide, something Israel should have done long ago.
Ahimeir further states that the diplomatic contacts between Israel and Turkey are on the level of the third secretary. The latter just resides in Tel - Aviv on an easy way of medicine and relief from Turkey for Gaza. He is Erdogan’s guy there. Erdogan is a president who has gone all the way offensive on Jews while campaigning for the presidency. So this humiliation comes out directly from the presidential office.
