The Armenians on the West Coast of the US celebrated the Independence of the motherland with national songs and dances, as well as, with the most delicious and perfect smelling courses of the Armenian cuisine. The Day was celebrated at Verdugo Park, in downtown Glendale.
The Armenian culture was presented to the others with the samples of national arts of carpet-making and embroidery.
This year around two thousand people participated in the event, like it was last year. Many of them left the site feeling concerned that next year the number of the participants would probably grow. And if the number decreases then it would be thanks to leaving for Armenia.
