The people of land living right on the border keep it safe alongside with the soldiers, by their side and sometimes, even before them. Even the foe can feel it with the cries of the new born babies, and the firm housing.
Dovegh is a border village in Tavush Region. The next Azerbaijani village is less than 3 km from here. They never forget about the war in Dovegh. Residents of Dovegh are like soldiers – they are always ready. They do not even think about leaving the village, they can perfectly take care of their land. But there are also some problems in the village which can not be solely solved by the villagers. The state support is felt needed.
The latest escalation was in July and August. Fortunately there were no classes at school. The front line of the Dovegh school is just under Azerbaijani fire-line. They have guidelines on the walls at the school, everybody knows them, and they have to be vigilant and ready. In summer they saw it once again that the enemy is some 1 or 2 kilometers away and any moment they can fire on the border settlements.
