The final counting at all the 32 polling areas in Scotland showed that over 55 % of the voters were against the independence. Around 45 % of them were for it. The Scots behind the barricades now just need to agree with each other on how to go on coexisting. The days before and after the referendum showed it would not take them impossible efforts.
The British analysts and political scientists advise the London Government not to delay the implementation of the promises given prior to the referendum. Not even a minute. Otherwise the nationalists, is predicted, to rise again in Scotland.
The referendum results were relief to many not only in the UK, but the rest of the world as well. The Scottish choice was welcomed by the European institutions and NATO. The latter would not will to lose one of their leading players.
