The Bambakashat church with about centennial history just had a celebration.
All the people who contributed to the improvement of the church in a way or another gathered at the chapel. In early 20thc century, when the times were hard on Armenians, and the church was endangered, in Bambakashat a church was built.
It was initiated by the village priest Hovhannes Ter – Hakobyan. The construction was funded by the rich from Nor Nakhijevan.
The inauguration ceremony of the kindergarten made the day for the community.
